Account settings
Manage profile, security, team members, preferences, and active sessions — all from one settings page.
Overview
Access via the profile icon in the top navigation (Account), or from the sidebar. The page is organized into six tabs:
- Security & Sign-in — Email, password, connected social accounts, and login credentials
- Public Profile — How other users see you on the platform
- Users — Add and manage team members who share the account
- Settings — Interface language, content language, display preferences, and watermark defaults
- Sessions & Devices — Monitor and control where the account is signed in
- Usage History — Recent usage statistics and spend breakdown across features
Security & Sign-in
Username
The unique identifier chosen at registration — displayed at the top of the tab and read-only after registration. Login is by email, not username.
Change email
- Enter the new email address.
- Confirm with the current account password (prevents unauthorized changes if a session is compromised).
- Click Save. A verification email is sent to the new address.
- Click the confirmation link in that email. Until confirmed, the old email remains active.
While a change is pending, a banner on the tab shows the pending address with a Cancel action to revert.
Change password
Enter current password, new password (minimum 6 characters), and confirm the new password. Saving updates the password on this device.
Set password (social sign-in users)
Accounts created via Google or Apple sign-in don't have a password by default. Setting one (6+ characters) enables email-based sign-in as an alternative, keeping both options available.
Connected social accounts
For accounts linked with Google or Apple, the Connected accounts section shows each provider with its linked email and connection date. Disconnect removes the link after confirmation.
Public profile
How other WebGPT users see you in the marketplace, link partnerships, and community features. Upload a profile picture (JPEG/PNG/GIF/WebP, up to 5 MB, with a crop tool). Fill in:
- Display name (up to 100 chars) — The name shown to other users.
- Job title (up to 100 chars) — Your role.
- About (up to 500 chars) — A short self-description.
- Website URL — A link to a personal or business site.
- Country and timezone — Used for timezone-aware date display where applicable.
Privacy & contact
Toggles control visibility and email: profile visibility on/off, show email on profile, allow incoming messages, email notifications for new messages, and tips and reminders — occasional emails while getting started. The unsubscribe link in those emails turns tips off too; account, security and billing emails always arrive.
The profile has a unique URL based on the username, displayed at the bottom of the tab with a Copy button.
Users
WebGPT supports multi-user accounts for teams collaborating on content and site management. The Users tab lists every user on the account with username, email, status, and last login.
Adding a user
Click Add User, enter email, username, and a password, then save. The new user can sign in with those credentials immediately.
Ban or delete users
Ban temporarily revokes access (the user can't log in until the ban is removed). Delete permanently removes the user from the account — not reversible.
Settings
Interface language
Controls all menus, buttons, labels, and system messages. Eight languages are supported: English, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic. Hebrew and Arabic switch the entire layout to RTL automatically.
Default content language
Pre-selects the language for AI-generated content (articles, bot output). Separate from the interface language, so the interface can be in English while content generates in Spanish. Override on a per-article or per-bot basis any time. If no content language is set when you add your website during setup, it is set to your website's language — change it here any time.
NSFW content toggle
Allows NSFW listings in the marketplace and link partners. Off by default. When it is on, both pages show a Display adult content switch in their filters, which starts off each time — NSFW sites appear only while that switch is on. The switch is available on paid plans only. Affects only your view — not other users.
Image watermark defaults
Default watermark settings used across the account, overridable per WordPress domain. Configure:
- Enable by default — Newly connected domains inherit this setting.
- Font — Choose from 1,900+ Google Fonts (downloaded and cached on first use).
- Position, opacity, color, angle — Standard watermark controls (default opacity 37%, default angle 0).
The publish page and Content autopilot tasks each have their own watermark toggle, so watermark can be turned on or off per-publish.
Sessions & Devices
Full visibility into every active login session — device, operating system, browser, IP address, approximate location, and login time. The current session is clearly marked.
Two termination options: end a single session (the other device signs out immediately), or Sign out all other sessions to end everything except the current one.
Resetting a forgotten password from the sign-in page ends every session on every device, including this one — sign in again afterwards with the new password.
Usage history
A breakdown of activity over the last 7 days across features that have limits — feature name, usage count, any AI or service costs, and which team member performed the action. Useful for understanding team usage patterns, tracking costs, and checking whether the current plan fits actual consumption.
If you use your own API keys, a spend summary sits above the activity list: total cost plus a per-category breakdown — AI content, images, video, visibility, chatbots, and other features — filterable by today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all time.
Data & Privacy
At the bottom of the Settings tab:
- Download my data — Generates a ZIP with everything your account owns — account profile, brands, articles, AI images and videos, chatbot configs and conversation history (including leads your chatbots collected), knowledge-base source documents, prompts, templates and writing styles, content autopilots, AI Visibility data, connected websites and their contact messages, tasks, support tickets, shared links, devices, usage history, and billing records — one JSON file per type. Passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, and WordPress credentials are always removed, and internal processing data (job queues, AI reasoning logs, search indexes) is left out. Available once every 24 hours.
- Submit a data request — Opens the contact form pre-filled with the right subject for formal access, portability, or deletion requests.
