Marketplace

Browse publicly listed WordPress websites from other WebGPT users and publish your articles to their sites. Expand your content reach by tapping into an existing network of established websites.

What is the marketplace?

The WebGPT Marketplace is a directory of WordPress websites that other WebGPT users have chosen to make publicly available for content publishing. Think of it as a network of websites where you can place your articles, reaching audiences beyond your own sites.

Website owners list their WordPress sites on the marketplace, setting their own categories, language preferences, and pricing. As a content creator, you can browse these listings, find websites that match your niche, and publish articles directly to them through WebGPT's article creation system.

This creates a mutually beneficial arrangement: website owners get fresh content for their sites, and content creators get access to established platforms with existing audiences.

Browsing the marketplace

The marketplace presents websites in a visual grid layout that makes it easy to browse and discover sites relevant to your content needs.

Website listings

Each listing in the marketplace grid displays:

  • Website screenshot — A visual preview of the site so you can quickly assess its design and quality
  • Domain name — The website's URL
  • Metadata — Additional information about the site, such as its categories and language

NSFW filtering

Some websites listed on the marketplace may contain adult or not-safe-for-work (NSFW) content. The marketplace respects your account-level NSFW display preference, which controls whether these listings appear in your results.

  • NSFW display off (default) — NSFW-flagged websites are hidden from your marketplace results
  • NSFW display on — All websites are shown, including those flagged as NSFW

You can change your NSFW display setting in your Account Settings page. This is a personal preference that only affects what you see — it does not change how other users see the marketplace.

Favorites

When you find websites that you want to publish to regularly or revisit later, you can add them to your favorites. This creates a personal shortlist that saves you time browsing through the full marketplace each time.

  • Click the favorite icon on any website listing to add it to your favorites
  • Access your favorites for quick reference when creating new articles
  • Remove websites from your favorites at any time

Publishing to marketplace sites

The marketplace is tightly integrated with WebGPT's article creation system. When you create an article, you can choose to publish it to a marketplace website instead of (or in addition to) your own sites.

Publishing workflow

  1. Create a new article
Go to Create → AI Articles and start a new article, or navigate to the article creation page.
  2. Select "Marketplace" as the platform type
In the platform/destination settings for your article, choose Marketplace as the publishing platform.
  3. Choose a marketplace website
Browse or search for a marketplace website to publish to. You can select from your favorites or browse the full marketplace listings.
  4. Select a category
Choose the appropriate category for your article on the target website. The available categories are determined by the website owner.
  5. Confirm pricing
Review and confirm any associated fees for publishing to the selected website. Pricing is set by the website owner and may vary between sites.
  6. Generate and publish
Complete your article and publish it. The article will be sent to the selected marketplace website for publication.
Publishing fees
Website owners set their own pricing for accepting articles through the marketplace. The fee typically reflects the site's audience size, domain authority, and niche value. Always review the pricing before confirming a publication.

Listing your own sites

If you want to list your own WordPress websites on the marketplace so that other WebGPT users can publish content to them, you do this through the Public Websites page, not the marketplace itself.

The marketplace is the browsing and discovery side of the equation. The Public Websites page is where you manage which of your sites are listed and configure their marketplace settings (categories, language, pricing, etc.).

Tip
Listing your sites on the marketplace is a great way to get fresh content published on your websites while earning publishing fees. Make sure your site's categories and description are accurate to attract the right kind of content from other users.

Best practices

  • Match your niche — Publish articles to websites that are relevant to your content topic. This ensures the audience is interested in what you write and improves engagement.
  • Check website quality — Use the screenshot preview and visit the website directly to assess its design, content quality, and audience before committing to publish there.
  • Use favorites strategically — Build a curated list of high-quality, relevant sites in your favorites. This streamlines your publishing workflow for future articles.
  • Diversify your reach — Publish to multiple marketplace websites across your niche to maximize your content's visibility and reach different audiences.
  • Review pricing — Compare pricing across similar websites to find the best value for your budget. Higher-priced sites may offer larger audiences or stronger domain authority.
