Blogging & social platforms
Connect blogging and social media platforms to publish your AI-generated content directly from WebGPT.
Overview
WebGPT can publish content to multiple platforms beyond self-hosted WordPress sites. By connecting your blogging and social media accounts, you can write an article once and distribute it to Blogger, WordPress.com, Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok — all from a single dashboard.
Each platform connection uses OAuth (secure authorization), so WebGPT never stores your passwords. You simply sign in to the platform, grant the necessary permissions, and your account is linked.
Navigate to Integrations → Blogging & social from the main sidebar menu. Each platform has its own tab with connection instructions and account management.
Blogger (Google)
Blogger is Google's free blogging platform. Connecting your Blogger account lets you publish AI-generated articles directly to any of your Blogger blogs, complete with images and formatting.
How to connect Blogger
- Open the Blogger tab on the Blogging & social platforms page.
- Click the Connect button. A Google sign-in window will appear.
- Sign in with the Google account that owns your Blogger blogs.
- Review and grant the requested permissions. WebGPT needs permission to read your blog list and create/edit posts.
- After authorization, you will be redirected back to WebGPT. Your Blogger blogs will be automatically synced and displayed.
Features
- Publish articles with full HTML formatting and images.
- All blogs under your Google account are automatically discovered.
- Select any of your blogs as a publishing destination when creating articles or configuring Content autopilots.
WordPress.com
WordPress.com is a hosted blogging platform run by Automattic. This is different from self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) — it uses its own API and authentication flow.
If you run your own WordPress installation on a server (WordPress.org), use the WordPress sites integration instead. The WordPress.com integration here is only for blogs hosted on wordpress.com.

- Open the WordPress.com tab on the Blogging & social platforms page.
- Click the Connect button. You will be redirected to the WordPress.com authorization page.
- Sign in with your WordPress.com credentials.

- You will be redirected back to WebGPT with your WordPress.com sites ready to use.
Features

- All sites under your WordPress.com account are discovered automatically.
- Uses the WordPress.com REST API (different from the WordPress.org REST API used for self-hosted sites).

- Sign in with your Pinterest account (must be a Business account).

Features
- Create pins with a title (up to 100 characters), description (up to 800 characters), and image.
- Add a destination URL to each pin — when someone clicks the pin, they are taken to the URL you specify.
- Select which board to publish to from your connected boards.
- Use the Refresh boards option from the account card menu to sync new boards created on Pinterest.
- Use as a publishing destination in articles and Content autopilot configurations.
Publishing to Pinterest
When creating an article with Pinterest as the destination:
- Title — A dedicated title field appears above the content area (separate from the description).
- Description — The main content area is used as the pin description (plain text, up to 800 characters).
- Image — Required for every pin. Search free stock photos, upload your own, or select from AI-generated images.
- Destination URL — Optional but recommended. This is the link visitors see when they click the pin.
Connect your LinkedIn account to publish posts to your personal profile and Company Pages you manage. Ideal for sharing professional content, thought leadership, and company updates.
How to connect LinkedIn
- Open the LinkedIn tab on the Blogging & social platforms page.
- Click the Connect button. You will be redirected to the LinkedIn authorization page.
- Sign in with your LinkedIn account.
- Review and grant the requested permissions.
- You will be redirected back to WebGPT with your personal profile and any Company Pages you admin ready to use.
Features
- Publish posts to your personal LinkedIn profile or any Company Page you manage.
- Add a title for link preview cards when sharing articles with a destination URL.
- Attach images to posts for higher engagement.
- Posts support up to 3,000 characters of plain text.
- Use as a publishing destination in articles and Content autopilot configurations.
LinkedIn API access for posting requires the Community Management API product, which must be enabled in the LinkedIn Developer Portal. This is typically auto-approved after requesting access.
TikTok
Connect your TikTok account to publish photo carousel posts and video posts directly from WebGPT. Reach millions of viewers with AI-generated content, scheduled automatically or published on demand.
How to connect TikTok

- Sign in with your TikTok account.

- You will be redirected back to WebGPT with your TikTok account ready to use.
Features
- Publish photo carousel posts with up to 35 images (JPEG and WebP formats).
- Publish video posts from your AI-generated video library.
- Video captions support up to 2,200 characters of plain text.
- Photo posts support a title (90 characters) and description (4,000 characters).
- Choose privacy levels for each post: Everyone, Followers, Friends, or Only Me.
- Commercial disclosure toggles for paid partnerships and promotional content.
- AI-generated content labeling for transparency compliance.
- Use as a publishing destination in articles and Content autopilot configurations.
TikTok limits publishing to 15 posts per day per account. This is a platform-wide limit shared across all apps, not just WebGPT. Content autopilots enforce this limit automatically.
Managing connected accounts
All your connected platform accounts are displayed as cards on the Blogging & social platforms page. Each card shows:
- Platform name and icon — so you can quickly identify each connection.
- Account details — your username or profile name on the platform.
- Connection status — whether the connection is active or needs re-authorization.
- Connected sites/pages — which blogs or pages are available through this connection.
Disconnecting an account
To remove a platform connection:
- Find the account card for the platform you want to disconnect.
- Click the Actions dropdown menu on the card.
- Select Delete or Disconnect.
- Confirm the removal when prompted.
Disconnecting an account removes it from WebGPT. Any Content autopilots or articles configured to publish to that platform will no longer be able to do so. You can always reconnect by clicking Connect again.
Using platforms for publishing
Once a platform is connected, it becomes available as a publishing destination across WebGPT:
- Article creation: When creating an article in the AI articles editor, you can select a connected platform as the publishing target. The article will be posted to that platform when you click Publish.
- Content autopilots: When configuring a Content autopilot, you can select a connected platform as the bot's output destination. The bot will automatically publish generated content to that platform on schedule.
Each platform tab includes a collapsible "How to setup" section with detailed, step-by-step instructions specific to that platform. Click the section header to expand it if you need guidance while connecting.
Troubleshooting
- Authorization expired: OAuth tokens can expire over time. If you see an error when trying to publish, try disconnecting and reconnecting the platform.
- Missing blogs or pages: If a new blog or page does not appear, refresh the connection by disconnecting and reconnecting. New blogs created after the initial connection may not be picked up automatically.
- Permission errors: Make sure you granted all the requested permissions during the OAuth flow. If you declined a permission, the connection may not work correctly.
- Facebook page not showing: Only Pages where you have an admin or manager role will appear. Personal profiles cannot be used for publishing through the API.
- Pinterest boards not showing: Only public boards are synced. If you created new boards after connecting, use the Refresh boards option from the account card menu. A Pinterest Business account is required for API access.
- LinkedIn Company Page not showing: Only pages where you have an Administrator role will appear. If you were recently added as an admin, try disconnecting and reconnecting your LinkedIn account.
- TikTok posts appearing as private: Until your TikTok developer app is audited, all posts are restricted to “Only Me” visibility. Contact support if you need public posting enabled.
- TikTok image format error: TikTok only accepts JPEG and WebP images. PNG files are automatically converted to JPEG by WebGPT, but if you experience issues, try uploading a JPEG image directly.
- TikTok rate limit reached: TikTok allows a maximum of 15 posts per day per account. If you hit this limit, wait until the next day or use a different TikTok account.
